Advent Message intends to be a place where Seventh-day Adventists can learn present truth that will prepare them for Christ’s soon return.
The goal of our Bible studies is two-fold: 1. To help restore the “lost” pillars of our church. 2. To train others to help “finish the work.”
Our site offers a unique method of training God’s people through the use of cutting edge technology. Students have at their finger tips, easy to use features that make studying the Bible pleasant. The publisher and editor of the Advent message, is Brent Whinfield. He has been proclaiming God’s Word since 1999, and has brought Seventh-day Adventist messages to thousands of truth seekers the world over.
Whinfield is an elder at his local church congregation, and describes himself as “an old fashioned, dyed in the wool, Seventh-day Adventist Christian who embraces all the pillars of his beloved church.”
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.” 2 Peter 1:19 Peter is saying that there is a more sure word of prophecy than his eyewitness accounts. The Prophetess says that we should be earnest students of prophecy. We should not rest until we become intelligent in regard to the subject of the sanctuary.
What she is saying that in order to understand prophecy, we need to line it up with a template of the sanctuary. Prophecy is like a light that shines in the darkness that helps us to see where we’re going. Prophecy is like a light that shows us what will happen before it takes place. Jesus says in John 14:29, “I tell you before it comes to pass, that when it shall come to pass you might believe.”
The sure word of prophecy is the foundation of Seventh-day Adventists.
